CALLING Vol.2 has been successfully over. We thank everyone who joined the event. Recorded videos of all sessions are available. Please visit the details page of each session.
Even today, in 2021, our society is still affected by the new coronavirus infection and continues to be challenged in an environment rarely seen in history. For startups aiming for rapid growth, it is necessary to change, adapt, and grow even in such an environment. And now that online communication has become the norm, there is a need for "縁/EN" to connect communities, companies, and people.
Startup Conference CALLING Vol.2 is a unique program focused on creating new "EN" among startups, VCs (venture capitalists) and CVCs (corporate venture capitalists) who are important players in the startup community, as well as companies and media considering new businesses and DX. The unique program will focus on creating a new "edge/en" for companies and media.
In addition, there will be a pitching session for startups that are currently residing in Fukuoka Growth Next, startups that have graduated, and startups that have been recommended by related venture capitals.
In the Entrepreneur Session, startup entrepreneurs who have reached the growth phase where they have solidified the direction of their products and services and who are expanding their businesses, discuss their success stories and the obstacles they have encountered, as well as the challenges that startups in FGN will face in their next stage of growth and how to overcome them. We also aim to build connections among startups by sharing our challenges.
Details about this session
Basically, startups moving into FGN’s team rooms and shared offices are required to stay for one year (with the possibility of a one-year extension depending on the phase of growth). 2 years have passed since FGN’s reopening in June 2021, and many startups have taken flight. For the pitch session of CALLING Vol. 2, we feature “FGN Graduation Startups” that have taken off from FGN and continue to grow.
